Would your agency like to learn how to become more welcoming and inclusive of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender seniors? We offer cultural competency training and follow-up services to raise awareness of the unique health and aging-related issues of LGBT seniors and those with disabilities. The trainings will help staff identify barriers in service, and demonstrate specific ways to reach out to LGBT seniors in order to increase their participation in mainstream social service agencies and improve their quality of life.
