Thank you for your interest in JOBS NOW!, the subsidized employment program for families funded by stimulus dollars and administered by HSA. HSA will recruit and hire program participants to fill entry-level trainee slots at your city department. HSA will also cover 100% of the wages paid to PST hired by your department through September 30, 2010. Participating departments are required only to contribute the time required to supervise the participants, as well as training and work supplies as appropriate. City departments will need to provide the names and classifications of participant supervisors. Supervisors of JOBS NOW! participants may not be in positions that are federally funded. We hope that this opportunity will be of benefit to your department while also helping low-income families become employed and gain experience.
