SAN FRANCISCO HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION

DISABILITY ACCESS

The Commission’s meeting room, Ronald H. Born Auditorium, on the first floor at 170 Otis Street has accessible seating for persons with disabilities (including those using wheelchairs). The closest accessible BART Station is at 16th and Mission Streets. Accessible MUNI Lines are the 14-Mission, 49-Mission/VanNess, 26-Valencia and 9-San Bruno. All the MUNI Metro Lines are accessible. Accessible curbside parking has been designated at points on the 100 block of Otis Street. Large print copies of the agenda will be made available on request. Please contact the Commission office at 557-6431 at least two business days in advance of need. In order to allow individuals with environmental illness to attend meetings, all are asked to refrain from wearing perfume or other scented products.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE SUNSHINE ORDINANCE

These comments will be made a part of the official public record, and brought to the attention of the Human Services Commission and the Department of Human Services. A. Requesting ratification of actions taken by the Executive Director since the December 12, 2002 regular meeting in accordance with Commission authorization of June 27, 2002:

1. Submission of requests to encumber funds in the amount of $3,787,828 for purchase of services or supplies;

2. Submission of temporary requisitions TE91088 through TE91098 for possible use in order to fill positions on a

temporary basis;

2. Submission of report indicating no temporary appointments made during the period of December 4, 2002 through January 9, 2003.

B. Requesting authorization to renew the HUD Grant Contracts for the Integrated Services Network providing supportive

services for formerly homeless individuals; during the period of January 2, 2003 through January 1, 2006; with:

1. BAKER PLACES - in a total contract amount not to exceed $580,55l;

2. COMMUNITY HOUSING PARTNERSHIP -- in a total contract amount not to exceed $255,087;

3. LUTHERAN SOCIAL SERVICES OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA - in a total contract amount not to exceed $352,083;

4. MISSION HOUSING DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION - in a total contract amount not to exceed $203,502;

5. TENDERLOIN HOUSING CLINIC -- in a total contract amount not to exceed $258,528.

C. Requesting authorization to modify the following contracts to provide target case management; during the period of July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003, with:
