For more than 30 years, Children's Council of San Francisco has been helping families find and pay for high-quality child care. They serve all communities of the city, providing more than 4,000 free child care referrals and child care subsidy assistance to over 4,000 low-income parents every year.

If you need help paying for child care or finding a child care provider who meets your needs as a parent and the needs of your child, Children's Council of San Francisco can provide you with referrals:

By phone: Child Care Resource & Referral counselors are available by phone Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call (415) 343-3300 for a referral to a child care provider that best meets the needs of your family.

In person: Visit the Resource & Referral drop-in room to receive free child care referrals, publications, and resources. The Children's Council Resource Room is located at 445 Church Street, between 16th and 17th Streets, and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
