ACCESS (Accessible Child Care Expedited for the Shelter System SF) assists families with at least one child under 3 years of age who are living or have lived within the past six months in homeless or domestic violence shelter to obtain child care to stabilize their situation and support their progression to transitional or permanent housing.

Through a mix of licensed child care centers and licensed Family Child Care Networks, ACCESS families are offered various child care options whereby the needs of their children and families are addressed by teachers and through supportive services.

If you are living or have lived within the past six months in a San Francisco homeless or domestic violence shelter, contact Children's Council of San Francisco for further assistance with child care.
