The Shelter Plus Care Program provides rental assistance to chronically homeless single adults and families with disabilities related to severe mental health, substance abuse, and disabling HIV/AIDS. The committee is responsible for establishing program policies and procedures and monitoring program operations, and is comprised of homeless advocates, service providers, program participants and representatives of various city agencies.

The committee meets the fourth Wednesday of each of the following months: January, April, July, and October from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 1650 Mission Street. For more information, contact Shane Balanon at (415) 557-6480 or Shane.Balanon@sfgov.org.
