Kin-GAP
Kinship Guardianship Assistance Payment (Kin-GAP) enables children exiting the juvenile court dependency system to live with a relative legal guardian as a permanent plan. Kin-GAP provides a subsidy payment that matches the basic foster care rate, based upon age, and beginning in 2007, will pay the clothing and special needs allowance if applicable.
