I.    Welcome and Introductions

II.   Approval of April 28, 2003 Minutes

III.   Childcare – Michele Rutherford will provide current information on the state childcare budget.

IV.   EITC - Barbara Allen will make a presentation on this excitingEarned Income Tax Credit initiative that assisted CalWORKs and other DHS clients in filing income tax returns.  Results are in for 2002 and bigger plans are underway for 2003.

V.   CalWORKs Update – Dolores Heaven, Program Manager, will give an update on the numbers of participants in employment plans, welfare to work activities, in compliance plans or sanctions, the number employed, average wages, and other statistics and program news.

VI.   Timing Out Report for CalWORKs Participants - An updated report will be made regarding the CalWORKs population that have reached their 60-month time limit.
