CPS also maintains two Spanish-speaking units in the Mission neighborhood at the Workforce Development “One Stop” location. This office serves Latino families, connecting them with linguistically and culturally appropriate community resources. Emergency Response, Family Preservation, Court Dependency and Family Services are provided by the bilingual staff to these families who have the complex issues of survival, often without legal citizenship documentation. The staff strive to support their customers who face difficult obstacles in providing sufficiently for their families, while addressing child abuse/neglect concerns.
