CALM is financial assistance for individuals receiving Medi-Cal benefits because they are either aged or disabled, but who do not currently qualify for Supplemental Security Income or the Cash Assistance Programs for Immigrants. These individuals may choose to participate in PAES to receive the services provided by that employment program. Medi-Cal benefits and cash assistance are provided through a single process. Applicants may apply at the Medi-Cal office at 1440 Harrison Street.
