Connecting Point is a centralized intake system for homeless families seeking emergency shelter. Services can be accessed through the Hotline. This organization provides emergency food, clothing, transportation and crisis intervention counseling while families await placement in full-service shelters. Connecting Point also maintains a fair and equitable waiting list and provides information and referral to services throughout the Bay Area. Family shelters are case-managed, provide a wide range of services to help families stabilize, and assist in transitioning families to more permanent housing.
