2010 Needs Assessment: Consumer Advocacy


Consumer advocacy programs assist seniors and adults with disabilities to advocate for their rights and services.  To help vulnerable seniors and persons with disabilities remain in the community, the Department opf Aging and Adult Services funds various consumer advocacy service areas, such as home care, housing, health insurance counseling and legal services.  This report, authored by the Department of Aging and Adult Services and the Office on Aging, provides an overview of the need for each service area.
