Our Workforce Development Division can help you find qualified applications for open positions you'd like to fill quickly to keep your business running smoothly. As part of San Francisco's commitment to economic development, we provide no-cost business services to help employers hire, train and retain qualified applicants as quickly and easily as possible.

Through our JobsNOW! program for employers, we have business account representatives who can provide you with prescreened applicants for single job orders. For larger employer recruitments, we can also assist in providing an on-site facility for testing and interviewing potential candidates. We have over 10,000 job seekers and have helped over 1,000 employers and placed people in almost 4,000 jobs in the past three years. 

Services for employers include:

  • Pre-screening applicants that meet your specific job requirements from our over 10,000 job seekers
  • Skills testing in over 130 specific job-related skill areas
  • Tailored recruitments
  • Information regarding tax incentives
  • On-the-job and incumbent worker training reimbursements
  • Sector-based and general job fairs
  • Reimbursement for employers' costs for background checks and drug screening
  • Employment retention support for employees to help reduce turnover

Business account representatives work closely with employers in order to refer only the most qualified and well-suited job-seekers for available positions.
