About the Hub

The DAS Benefits and Resources Hub (formerly Integrated Intake and Referral) was established in 2008 to streamline access to social services and maximize service connections. Through a single call or visit, older adults and people with disabilities are able to learn about available services throughout the city and also apply for several DAS services.

In its role as the “central door” for DAS services, the unit serves as the hotline for Adult Protective Services reports and completes intake applications for several services, including the Community Living FundIn-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) (including Care Transitions for those IHSS referrals discharging from the hospital), our Home Delivered Meals Program, and the Office On Aging Case Management Program.

Service is provided in multiple languages, including English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Tagalog.
