To prevent the spread of the coronavirus, HSA service sites are now closed. But we are still available and ready to help you meet many of your essential service needs without interruption by phone and online. Learn more from our Agency updates below.

Temporarily closed locations and changed services 

  • HSA service centers - closed: 2 Gough | 1440 Harrison | 1235 Mission | 3120 Mission | 1800 Oakdale | 77 Otis | 170 Otis ​​​​​​
  • CalFresh outstations - closed
  • Community services - suspended: Including adult learning activities (exercise, art, music, and other classes)
  • Community meals service - changed: Shifted to take-away meals.
  • Emergency food boxes - suspended: Check back for updates.
  • Free diapers distribution - changed: Available for eligible CalWORKs and CalFresh families at these HSA service centers only: 170 Otis | 1235 Mission. View details for hours and other partner distribution sites. 
  • Free tax help - changed: Available online only. All free tax sites are closed for this tax season.
  • Muni Lifeline recertification - suspended: Recertification dates will be rescheduled, and Lifeline passes will remain active, regardless of expiration date, until further notice. No payment is required in April or May.
  • Volunteers needed:  Become an Emergency Response Volunteer (CERV) to help older and vulnerable adults with delivery of essentials including medication, groceries, and mail. Sign up now.

In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)

  • Care Providers: Help with timesheet and payments, employment verification, overtime and travel time, and violations, call (415) 557-6200
  • Care Recipients: Help with recipient responsibilities, call your IHSS social worker
  • Applications and information: Email applications to ihss@sfgov.org or call (415) 355-6700
  • Care Provider orientations: Are now included in the online enrollment process.
  • eTimesheet trainings: All scheduled in-person sessions have been canceled.
