WAREHOUSE WORKER & DELIVERY DRIVER​​

Wholesale distributor of dry goods and household goods in Bayview Hunter’s Point for 45+ years. Family-owned. Company needs a reliable, responsible, flexible, hard worker with great attention to detail, who can quickly problem solve in a wide range of situations, and can operate in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and ready to get the job done. No experience is necessary and no special driving certs are required. Company will train. Please note, candidates must speak Mandarin or Cantonese, as well as English, to be considered.​​ 

THIS IS AN ONSITE TRAINING OPPORTUNITY​​ 

DUTIES:​​ 

·       In this dual role, you will be responsible for warehouse organization and order fulfillment while performing delivery duties when needed. ​​ 

·       Load and unload products, stacking and organizing goods to ensure accurate inventory management. ​​ 

·       Operate a van for route driving and delivering goods to customers in a timely manner. ​​ 

·       Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment​​ 

·       Utilize pallet jacks and hand trucks for moving heavy items safely.​​ 

·       Provide courteous customer service during deliveries and addressing inquiries and concerns to management.​​ 

·       Communicate effectively with owners and managers regarding work priorities and daily duties.​​ 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:​​ 

·       Valid driver’s license and a clean DMV record is required.​​ 

·       Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and perform other physical tasks.​​ 

·       Strong customer service skills and effective communication.​​ 

·     Mandarin or Cantonese speaker, in addition to English.​​ 

·       Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.​​ 

Preferred Qualifications: (not required)​​ 

·       Previous warehouse or customer service experience is preferred.​​ 

JOB SCHEDULE:​​ 

Mondays 1PM to 6PM, Thursdays 9AM to 6PM and Fridays 9AM to 6PM (1 hour lunch break on Thursday & Friday)​​
