We are currently seeking a passionate stylist to join our team to train as an Organic Stylist. This is an On-Site-Learning position.
Job duties you will be learning:
- Participate in Organic Product Training:
- Learn the philosophy, ingredients, and application techniques of our exclusive organic product lines, including shampoos, conditioners, treatments, and color systems.
- Perform Organic Color Services:
- Apply organic hair color using safe, non-toxic methods. Services include root touch-ups, full color, highlights, and color correction, all tailored to individual client needs.
- Deliver Holistic Hairdressing Services:
- Provide haircuts and styling with a wellness-centered approach. Incorporate techniques such as scalp massage, aromatherapy, and mindful communication to enhance the client experience.
- Execute Technical Cutting and Styling:
- Perform precision haircuts using advanced techniques (e.g., one-length, layers, bobs, razor cutting, curly hair methods). Style hair using organic products and tools for a polished, healthy finish.
- Maintain Salon Cleanliness and Hygiene:
- Follow strict sanitation protocols, including daily cleaning, laundry duties, and workstation organization to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Manage Inventory and Product Orders:
- Track product usage, monitor stock levels, and assist in placing orders with vendors to maintain a well-supplied salon.
- Support Front Desk Operations:
- Assist with appointment scheduling, client check-ins, and managing cancellations or rescheduling. Use salon software and maintain professional communication with clients.
- Collaborate with Team Members:
- Work closely with fellow stylists and management to support a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented salon culture.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fully licensed by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a salon setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
