The Prep Cook supports daily kitchen production for a fast-paced Singaporean food stall serving up to 200 guests during peak lunch rushes. The trainee will learn efficient, high-volume production standards, ingredient identification, safe food handling, and organized station management. The role requires attention to detail, speed, and respect for kitchen hierarchy under the direction of Head Chef.

• At least 2 years of professional kitchen experience (prep, line, or commissary setting).
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• After training must able to demonstrate to work clean, organized, and efficiently throughout service.
• After training must be able to show respect for kitchen leadership and team structure, including direct report to Head Chef.
• After training punctual and reliable attendance is required for all scheduled days.
Preferred (Trainable on the Job):
• Prior experience in Asian cuisine.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification (current or within first month of employment).
• Knife skills and knowledge of prep equipment (blenders, mixers, steamers).
• Experience with batch cooking, portioning, and labeling for catering or take-away service.
• Ability to communicate clearly with bilingual (Spanish-speaking) team members.
