GELATO MAKER​​ 

A beloved Mission District ice cream shop is looking for a Full-Time Gelato Maker to join our team on Treasure Island. We serve authentic Italian gelato, smoothies, milkshakes, crepes, sundaes, and more. Our shop is fast-paced, fun, and rooted in the tradition of crafting premium gelato, sorbet, and handmade Italian frozen cakes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.​​

What You Will Learn:​​ 

• Preparing large batches of gelato​​ 

• General food preparation​​ 

• Stocking dry inventory​​ 

• Organizing and stocking freezers​​ 

• Following recipes accurately​​ 

• Using the metric system​​ 

• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen/work areas, equipment, and dishes​​ 

Minimum Qualifications:​​ 

• At least 6 months of food preparation experience​​ 

• English fluency​​ 

• Basic computer and math skills​​ 

• Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing workloads​​ 

• Strong listening skills and ability to follow directions​​ 

• Organized multi-tasker with strong attention to cleanliness​​ 

• Fast, efficient work habits and heavy lifting​​ 

• Ability to follow recipes consistently​​ 

• Self-sufficient, focused, and a strong communicator​​ 

• Ambitious, engaged, and committed to staying with the company for at least one year​​ 

• Takes pride in doing a good job​​ 

Job Schedule:​​ 

Monday-Friday​​ 

Beneficios:

1 week of vacation - after 2 years of employment​​
