A beloved Mission District ice cream shop is looking for a Full-Time Gelato Maker to join our team on Treasure Island. We serve authentic Italian gelato, smoothies, milkshakes, crepes, sundaes, and more. Our shop is fast-paced, fun, and rooted in the tradition of crafting premium gelato, sorbet, and handmade Italian frozen cakes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

What You Will Learn:
• Preparing large batches of gelato
• General food preparation
• Stocking dry inventory
• Organizing and stocking freezers
• Following recipes accurately
• Using the metric system
• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen/work areas, equipment, and dishes
Minimum Qualifications:
• At least 6 months of food preparation experience
• English fluency
• Basic computer and math skills
• Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing workloads
• Strong listening skills and ability to follow directions
• Organized multi-tasker with strong attention to cleanliness
• Fast, efficient work habits and heavy lifting
• Ability to follow recipes consistently
• Self-sufficient, focused, and a strong communicator
• Ambitious, engaged, and committed to staying with the company for at least one year
• Takes pride in doing a good job

Monday-Friday
