Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled, full-time Seamstress to join our custom workroom team. The ideal candidate has experience working with industrial sewing machines, attention to detail, and a passion for producing high-quality custom textile products. This role involves both sewing and occasional onsite assistance with measuring and installations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • After training Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial sewing machines
  • After training Sew and assemble custom draperies, upholstery panels, and soft furnishings according to project specifications
  • After training Ensure finished products meet the company’s strict quality standards
  • After training Maintain accurate inventory of materials, tools, and sewing supplies
  • After training Assist with onsite measuring and installation when needed
  • After training Support the production team in various workroom tasks as assigned
  • After training Follow all company safety procedures and protocols
  • After training Collaborate with supervisors to review project outcomes and implement improvements

Requirements:


  • Understanding of sewing techniques and fabric handling
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Basic math and measuring skills
  • Punctual, reliable, and a strong team player

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in custom drapery or upholstery production
  • Familiarity with high-end interior design standards
