Job Description
This is a training to permanent position. The employer is an Asian Fusion restaurant looking for a Server. You start as a Server and can move up to management. Training will be provided.
Duties:
- Greet customers and seat guests in a friendly manner.
- Serve food and beverages.
- Present menus, take orders and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Accurately input orders into the POS systems.
- Update social media.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Perform kitchen duties such as cleaning, doing dishes, cutting vegetables and meats.
- Prepare dishes according to specifications in a timely and accurate fashion
- Prepare and learn to make different kinds of bubble teas and desserts.
- Cook and assemble menu items.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Set up and close the restaurant.
- Willing to take food and safety certification.
- Handle cash and credit transactions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Interested in hospitality industry.
- Must show after training willingness and ability to work as a team.
- Must show after training the ability to adapt to changing menus and prioritize tasks.
- Can remain clear-headed under pressure.
- Must be able show after training the ability to keep on one's feet for long periods of time.
- Must be able to show after training ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to show after training ability to work fast with your hands and multitask
Schedule:
- 32 – 40 hours a week. Shift schedule is assigned weekly.
- Monday to Sunday, 10:30-2pm, 4:30pm-8:30pm.
