ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER FT

Job Description

This is a training to permanent position; the employer is a general contractor in the Sunset. The company specializes in residential remodeling. They are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to assist with operations.


 Job Duties:

-          Provides organizational support to a project manager

-          Ensure a project is completed on time and within budget.

-          Assist with planning, execution, monitoring, and managing administrative tasks.

-          Coordinate with team members

-          Track project documents, and prepare status reports and AR.

-          Maintain and organize project documents like budgets, schedules, and status reports, and ensure all third-party software is updated.

-          Facilitate communication between office staff, coordinate with Executive Assistant, subcontractors, and schedule meetings.

-          Maintain project budgets and timelines and track financial information.

-          Identify and help resolve issues that arise during the project and contribute ideas for cost savings.


Minimum Qualifications:

- Community college or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.

- Good command of the English Language in writing and verbal.

- This position requires strong organizational, communication, and technical skills, and often serves as a steppingstone to becoming a full project manager.

- After training must be able to show proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.

- After training must be able to show proven proficiency with online in Google docs, PowerPoint and Excel.

- After training must be able to show the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and a large volume of information.

- After training must be able to show strong written and verbal communication skills and interact effectively with various stakeholders, including clients,

engineers, and subcontractors.

- After training must be able to show proven proficiency in project management software specifically, Google Workspace and other relevant tools is essential.

- After training must be able to show basic technical knowledge of the industry, such as construction.

- Telecommuting is available.

 

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 10:30am to 5pm; Friday 9am – 5pm

             

Benefits: $500 sign in bonus after a month of service, holidays, vacation and sick time.
