PRESCHOOL HELPER FT

Job Description

This is a preschool looking for an Assistant to help run the school. This training to permanent Helper position is responsible for the successful operation of the classroom and assisting the Teacher, Head Teacher, Site Supervisor and/or Director to ensure quality care and education is provided to its optimal level.

 

Duties:

·      Help with cleaning the school, kitchen, yard, potty training, etc.

·      Set up beds for nap time.

·      Refill stock when low, arrange all items when delivery.

·      Changes diapers and assists with potty training

·      Prepares, serves and cleans after meals and snacks, following health and sanitation standards

·      Maintain a professional attitude and personal hygiene

·      Other duties as assigned.

 

 Minimum Qualifications:

·      Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

·      Current Department of Justice/FBI Child Abuse Index Clearance (Livescan) required.

·      Recent tubercular clearance (within past six months)

·      Current CPR, First Aid, and Health and Safety Training Certification for full-time employees

·      Health examination upon employment

·      Regular attendance and punctuality are on essential function of the job

·      Must be able to lift and/or move a child up to 40 pounds occasionally

·   Basic English needed. Language clients are welcome to apply.

 

 Schedule:

·   Full-time: 32-40 hrs a week. Monday to Friday.

·   Shifts vary based on availability.

·   Business Hours: 7:30am-6pm
