This position based out of our San Francisco office, but you may have to travel to other parts of the Bay Area if needed.
Technicians must get SPCB (Structural Pest Control Board Applicator) license - You will receive paid training and the preparation needed to pass the required licensing exam.
DUTIES:
- Complete our in-depth, paid training program to become a pest management expert
- Provide exceptional customer service, build strong relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify pest issues, access infested locations, and develop effective solutions
- Safely and efficiently apply pest management solutions
- Maintain accurate records and utilize technology to manage your work
- Uses small hand tools and power tools; clear blockages to facilitate application.
- Remove dead rodents and other dead pests and their shedding
- Utilize appropriate protective gear and equipment during mixing, loading, applying, and cleanup
- Drives safely and courteously at all times and maintains company vehicle
- Plan and organize a route; complete daily assigned production on time
- Capture wildlife and other pests for control or relocation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CA Driver’s License and clean DMV printout
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Honesty and integrity are essential!
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer knowledge; capable of learning new software programs quickly
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting, climbing, crawling, walking 3-5 miles daily, moving/lifting 50-100 lbs, and carrying and operating a 30-foot extension ladder
- Able to wear a respirator
- Must pass pre-employment assessment that evaluates problem-solving skills, and traits such as honesty. If you pass that, you will be brought in for an approximately 2-hour paid interview/assessment and will be compensated $50
SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 7 AM- 4 PM
**Must be flexible as schedule is subject to change**
