BAKERY ASSISTANT FT

Established in 1953, this family-owned Russian bakery and café is known for its authentic, traditional recipes, including piroshki, pelmeni, borscht and rye bread. Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, reliable Baker Assistant to join our team. This is a full‑time, permanent position with six months of paid, on‑the‑job training. Ideal for someone interested in growing a career in baking.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist bakers with breads, pastries, and other products

• Maintain a clean and hygienic baking area

• Operate and clean baking tools and equipment

• Lift sacks of flour and other baking supplies

• Support kitchen needs: packaging, stocking, organizing, prepping

• Follow all food safety standards

• Help ensure excellent product quality and customer satisfaction

Minimum Qualifications

• Able to lift, stand, and perform physical tasks

• Team‑oriented and able to follow instructions

• Available for early mornings/evenings and weekends

Preferred

• 1 year experience in a bakery or kitchen (not required)
