Buod ng Posisyon:
As a Postpartum Doula, you will provide emotional, educational, and practical support to families after the birth of their baby. You will assist with newborn care, postpartum recovery, light household support, and helping families transition confidently into this new chapter. Employees participate in paid online training, mentorship, and supervised hands-on practice with volunteer families prior to active client family assignments. Once assigned to client families, employees transition into full client-facing doula assignments with increased compensation. This role is part of our Onsite Training Program and specifically focuses on training employees through a structured 6-month paid training curriculum.
Mga Pangunahing Tungkulin:
• Provide hands-on newborn care support, including feeding guidance, soothing techniques, diapering, and sleep support
• Offer emotional reassurance and education to new parents
• Assist with postpartum recovery support and overall family well-being
• Support light household organization related to baby care, including laundry, meal preparation, and errands when needed
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, confidentiality, and clear communication with families and team members
• Follow company training guidelines, mentorship recommendations, and family care plans
• Travel to client homes throughout the Bay Area using reliable transportation
Minimum Qualifications:
• Compassionate, patient, and nurturing personality
• Strong desire to support postpartum families
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally through mentorship and training
• Reliable, organized, and responsive
• Excellent references
• U.S. work authorization
• Clear background check
• Reliable transportation required
• TDAP vaccination required for employees working with newborn families
• Prior experience working with newborns or families is a plus; however, comprehensive training and mentorship are provided
Job Schedule:
Schedule varies depending on client family needs and assignments. Full-time employees generally average between 32 to 40 hours per week through a combination of active family assignments, training, mentorship, and onboarding activities.
