Position Overview
This position is titled Restaurant Manager / Front-of-House (FOH) Assistant, but the day-to-day responsibilities focus mainly on serving, running food, and supporting basic restaurant operations. It is an ideal role for candidates who want hands-on experience in the restaurant industry while building bilingual customer-service and operational skills.
What You Will Learn
- FOH service skills: greeting guests, taking orders, serving food, bussing tables
- Effective bilingual (English & Chinese) communication with customers and team members
- Basic restaurant management processes: table rotation, shift flow, supply organization
- Knowledge of menu items, including Chinese–Western fusion concepts
- Food safety and sanitation standards
- Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- After training Serve food, run dishes, bus tables, and maintain a clean dining environment
- After training Greet customers, manage seating arrangements, and assist with guest needs
- After training Take orders and deliver dishes accurately and promptly
- After training Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- After training Assist with basic inventory checks and restocking supplies
- After training Operate POS system for order entry and payment processing
- After training Support daily restaurant operations, including prep work and closing duties
Minimum Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (required for customer interaction and team communication)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer-service mindset and willingness to learn
- Physical ability to lift 20–30 lbs
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with a team

Schedule & Compensation:
- Competitive hourly pay ($24/hour)
