Job Description

Italian fast‑casual, artisanal sandwich and pizza shop seeking a reliable and motivated team member to support daily restaurant operations, sandwich production, customer service, catering preparation, and food safety standards. This position includes structured hands‑on training and an opportunity to build practical restaurant skills in a fast‑paced Italian focaccia and Pinsa Romana concept.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare focaccia sandwiches, Pinsa Romana, salads, and catering orders according to established recipes and quality standards.

• Assemble sandwiches efficiently and consistently while maintaining excellent presentation and portion control.

• Maintain and organize the sandwich preparation line throughout each shift.

• Provide professional, friendly customer service and assist guests with orders as needed.

• Operate POS and order management systems when required.

• Track inventory levels, monitor ingredient usage, and communicate restocking needs to management.

• Assist with ingredient preparation, stocking, packaging, and daily food production.

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards in all work areas.

• Support daily restaurant operations and collaborate effectively with team members.

Job Requirements

• Ability to work full‑time (approximately 40 hours per week).

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.

• Ability to follow recipes, portioning standards, and food safety procedures.

• Ability to keep the sandwich preparation station clean, organized, and well stocked.

• Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.

• Attention to detail when preparing food, packaging orders, and tracking inventory.

• Food Handler Card required within the legally applicable timeframe.

Compensation & Employee Benefits

• Hourly wage: $22.00 per hour.

• Full‑time position (approximately 32-40 hours per week).

• Complimentary meals during scheduled shifts.
