Free Diapers for CalFresh and CalWORKs Households

The San Francisco Diaper Bank provides a free monthly supply of diapers to CalWORKs or CalFresh households with children under the age of three. Each eligible child may receive up to two cases of diapers each month. Please note: Participation in the Diaper Bank will not reduce monthly benefit amounts for food or cash assistance.

We make it easy to participate in the Diaper Bank:

  • Diaper distribution locations: HSA Service Centers at 170 Otis Street or 1235 Mission Street, and nine other participating organizations.
  • Bring your EBT card and a valid government-issued ID card: For example, a driver’s license, Consular ID card, or SF City ID Card.
  • More locations and program details: View our brochure (English | Español | 中文) for a pickup location near you and additional program information.

Contact HSA: If don't have a valid government ID, lost your EBT card, or have questions, call CalWORKs at (415) 557-5100 or CalFresh at (415) 558-4700.

Not receiving CalWORKs or CalFresh? Learn more about both and apply now.

The San Francisco Diaper Bank is a partnership between HSA and Help a Mother Out, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing access to diapers for families in need.
