The Mobile Benefits Center (MBC) is the San Francisco Human Services Agency’s service center on wheels. We collaborate with community partners to bring public benefits and other resources directly to you. View our video.
Our MBC services team helps you:
- Apply for or renew CalFresh, Medi-Cal, CalWORKs, and other benefits.
- Submit documents and verify eligibility.
- Get EBT support, immediately receive your card.
- Connect with resources such as childcare, information and referral services, employment support, and diaper pick-up.

Community-based organizations, schools, City agencies, and local partners can request a Mobile Benefits Center visit.
How to schedule a visit:
- Submit the online Request Form
- Include your event date, location, expected attendance, and requested services (Medi-Cal, CalFresh, County Adult Assistance Programs (CAAP), CalWORKs/Welfare-to-Work).
We will review and respond within two-five business days.
