We are seeking compassionate, committed, patient, and reliable professionals to join our team and provide essential care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. DUTIES:
- 1-on-1 assistance with ADLs such as housecleaning, meal prep, bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and toileting
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Monitor and record vital signs, and report any changes
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring clients' and own safety
- Accompany clients to appointments and run errands as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have vehicle (mileage reimbursed)- (client/patient is not open to using taxi or rideshare)
- Because the role involves intimate personal care, the female client specifically requested a female caregiver to preserve her comfort and dignity
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable, with a high level of integrity and good judgement
- Passionate about helping people and committed to providing respectful, inclusive care to all clients regardless of background or identity
- Available for full-time work
- References that can speak to your reliability and dependability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow care plans and document care provided using agency software
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and TB screening
- Physically fit
- Flexible, able to work with multiple clients in a day
- Cell phone with smart capabilities
- Basic English abilities to communicate with clients and understand care plans
- Must complete online 10-Hour Initial Caregiver Certification and Sexual Harassment Prevention Training within the first 30 days of employment (facilitated by agency)
- Able to follow agency protocols and adapt to feedback
Preferred, not required:
- Experience with people experiencing dementia or Parkinson's. Candidates who advance will have opportunities to pursue dementia specialization, hospice/end-of-life support, and chronic illness care training
- Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs)
JOB SCHEDULE:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12:30-6:30. Additional hours and training scheduled to be arranged with employer.

By the end of this 6 month on-site-training position, caregivers will be able to:
- Demonstrate safe, competent, and compassionate delivery of personal care and ADL support.
- Adhere to California state training requirements (initial + annual).
- Use WellSky correctly for notes, documentation, and timekeeping.
- Work safely with clients with mobility limitations, chronic illnesses, and dementia.
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients, families, and care team.
- Understand professionalism, boundaries, reporting, and agency standards.
