Job Description

Employer provides non-emergency medical transportation services for patients. This fast-paced and rewarding role is ideal for a self-starter who is looking to build their resume while working closely with an immediate team leader. Drivers are responsible for picking up and transporting patients using company vehicles equipped with GPS systems and necessary transport equipment. Depending on daily assignments, drivers may work independently or alongside another team member.


Duties:

-Independently run medical transportation operations

-Ensure patients are transported safely from their home to place of service (vice versa)

-Utilize company transportation software, maintain vehicle cleanliness

-Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

-Assume on-call responsibilities; effectively communicate with leadership


Minimum Qualifications:

-CA Driver's license required

-Must show after training professional driving experience

-Clean driving record (No more than 1 point)

-Must show after training ability to lift/maneuver 50 plus pounds

-Strong communication skills

-Ability to travel to various locations

-Must show after training successful use of business communication tools and apps

-Must show after training high level of professionalism

-Must show after training high level of customer service

-Demonstrate English language fluency

-Must pass after training physical agility test

-Must pass federal level drug test

-Must pass TB Skin Test or TB Chest X-ray exam

Schedule:

-Monday to Saturday; 8 hours a day; 3am-8:30pm

-Shift varies based on availability.
