This is a 6-Month On Site Training Opportunity, currently hiring a reliable, independent, and safety-focused individual to deliver sustainable fuels in the San Francisco area.
Family-owned, San Francisco based fuel company that helps customers reduce carbon emissions through non-petroleum based fuels. Specializing in UltraClean Diesel, we offer retail fuel sales, wet hose deliveries, carbon reduction strategies and more. We believe biofuels can provide a more sustainable energy future today at market competitive rates without sacrificing engine performance.
Responsibilities: Driver will use a 920 gallon capacity fuel truck with a 100 foot hose to deliver UltraClean Diesel directly into commuter buses and other fleet vehicles and equipment. A flatbed truck will be used to supply DEF to customer vehicles and equipment. Commercial driver’s license is not required, the ability to drive a large vehicle safely is a must. During deliveries, the driver must remain detail-oriented and alert to ensure each vehicle receives its requested amount of fuel and work proactively to prevent spills, leaving the customers’ yard and vehicles clean and ready for action. After fueling, the shift will conclude with some light paperwork and intermittent truck maintenance. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, possesses an eye for detail, drives safely, and can handle mild physical labor.
Fueling occurs in the evening and overnight. 7-day work operations. Must be flexible for weekends, evenings and overnight shift.
