Department of Disability and Aging Services (DAS) Age & Disability Friendly San Francisco Implementation Workgroup

The Age & Disability Friendly (ADF) Workgroup is a collaborative group under the Department of Disability and Aging Services (DAS) that oversees the implementation of San Francisco’s Age & Disability Friendly Action Plan. This initiative is part of a global movement led by the World Health Organization’s Network of Age-Friendly Cities, which San Francisco joined in 2014. The goal is to make the city more inclusive, accessible, and supportive for older adults and people with disabilities.

During 2025, the ADF Workgroup concluded the 2020–2025 Action Plan and drafted a new working plan to commence at the next ADF Workgroup meeting on January 29, 2026.
