Healthier Living - Chronic Disease Self-Management

Healthier Living is a free, six-week workshop developed by Stanford to help people manage ongoing health conditions that affect their quality of life. The workshop series covers arthritis, diabetes, stroke, high blood pressure, heart disease, lung disease, chronic pain, Parkinson’s, depression, and HIV.  

Workshops are offered by our community partner Onlok and meet once a week for 2.5 hours. Each series is facilitated by two trained health educators and conducted in different languages.

Who is eligible

Any older adult who is living with an ongoing health condition. Caregivers, family, and friends caring for an older adult with an ongoing health condition are also eligible
