County Adult Assistance Programs (CAAP) Use CAAP Cash Benefits
How use your CAAP benefits
CAAP benefits are distributed via the Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards. The EBT card is used like a debit card with a four-digit PIN.
- Report a lost or stolen card: Call (877) 328-9677 or (415) 558-2227.
- Check your EBT balance: Call (877)-328-9677 or visit ebt.ca.gov.
- Protect your EBT: Always keep your PIN and EBT card number secret. If you receive a text or phone call asking for your card and PIN numbers, do not provide your information. Contact us immediately at (415) 558-2227.

- California EBT Surcharge Free ATMs: List of retailers/banks with no surcharge
- California EBT Locator: Includes grocery stores, farmer's market, daily cash limit, and surcharge.
